The Envelope
If you've ever driven to Florida down the east coast you'll recognize the reference to South of the Border. (Westerners, think Wall Drug.)
Card front
The pillow design is printed on textured white paper. Under it is a little fiberfill and some pine scented granules, layered on top of a piece of Aida cloth. All the layers are sewn by machine onto the front of the card. It's supposed to look and smell like a souvenir balsam pillow.
Inside
As the card opens the slice form Christmas tree unfolds. I made this tree specifically to fit my card, but there are commercial versions available, including a die-cutting die (as of 2009). More information here.
The ribbon reads "For You A Pine & Balls (Some)"
