Paint Stripes Birthday Card

I made this rainbow stripe birthday card (designed by Lisa Addesa of  I'm in Haven) with my Cameo cutting machine rather than with the suggested letter dies.

HAPPY is made by stacking four layers of card stock and BIRTHDAY is self-stick vinyl.

(How to use my SVG files in Cricut Design Space).

Materials: black card stock, 5.5" x 8.5"
scraps of bright colored card stock
                 scrap of white adhesive vinyl

Fold black card stock in half to form a 5.5" x 4.25" card.

Cut paint stripes and letters from colored card stock.
(SVG includes gray sizing square = 8" x 8".  Delete or set to "no cut.")

Color or ink edges of letters if desired.  (It gives a shadow effect).

Place the H paint stripe 3/8" from the fold.
Place the Y paint stripe 3/8" from the open edges.
Distribute the A and the two P stripes evenly between them.

Adhere stripes.
Adhere the four sets of letters on top of each other to make dimensional letters.
Adhere letters to the ends of the paint stripes.

Cut vinyl "BIRTHDAY" and transfer to card front.
