100th Post!

It's my 100th post, and completely off topic.

My weekend was all about making a Tinkerbelle costume. Pretty good so far, except for my profound disapointment with the green glitter spray I got. It looked good on the cap but mostly what came out of the can was glue with no glitter! A whole can later the slippers and wings are barely green. Not what I was hoping for.

The other project of the weekend was this scarf, which I am making to send off to a Special Olympian. Very easy: if you can knit and purl, you can make this. Too bad the specified yarn is oh-so-plastic-y. (Inexpensive, though. I got it at the mart of Wal for $2 a skein.)

Coats & Clark are hoping to collect 5000 scarves! Read all about it on their site.

And now for today's Paper content....

I made another of these lattice pumpkins and hung some bats on the inside. There are fancy ways to do this, but I just used a little bit of fishing line and Scotch tape.

By the way, if you downloaded the pumpkin template before today there was a slot error on one of the pumpkin pieces which I just fixed.
