Improved Pencil Holder

Many thanks go out to Jaime, who tweaked my origamic architecture pencil holder template to make it even closer to the original design by IKO (who used to have a site at http://kamixkaze.xxxxxxxx.jp).

Download Jaime's templates:  PDF or Silhouette Studio file.
If you need a SCAL file, Christina has it on her blog, cg says.

This pencil holder was a big hit on Craftster.

I saw this when you posted it originally on Craftster, and then followed it to your blog. I have to say I absolutely love what you introduced me to, and have made over 20 origami architecture things since then. So thank-you, and I love the blog!

I love it! I'll try to do it today. I've never saw things like this before and I simply adore them. I think this is a new world for me :P
Oh, I also think it is a pity that the original web had desapeared. Do you know the reason? It was so wonderfull...
Regards!!

Hello,

I would love to know how to make the different lines in the cutting file. I see red lines with a box around them. They become the folding lines. I also see black lines that become cutting lines. there is an extra line around them, but that is not cut. Why did you add that?

Bye!

Which file did you try, PDF or Studio? Which program are you using to open the file?
Silhouette Studio file seems to be fine.

I noticed that the PDF was a picture file, adequate for printing and hand cutting, but not usable in vector programs. I have replaced it with a higher quality vector PDF.
