Feb 8, 2009

Today marks my first anniversary of blogging! I remember how excited I was to see that FIVE readers had visited the first week. :) 140 posts later and I'm up in the range of 250-300 visits most days. Who knew there were that many people interested in pop up and mechanical cards (and a few miscellaneous off-topics)? Like every other blogger out there, I love that you look, but I wish you would comment, even just to say hi and leave a link to your blog.

You say, that you would like some comments: I wery often would like to comment, but I dont have the right superlatives, trouble with language. But I am so impressed by your work.
By the way: Your fractal hearts, makes me want to try to make a fractal wowen heart, but maybe I dont have the skill.
I am looking forward to see your new posts every day.

Thanks Margit! I know English is not your first language so I appreciate even more your stopping by.

I hadn't been over to your blog lately, I don't know why! I've missed some gorgeous designs.

Margit makes THE MOST INCREDIBLE woven paper heart baskets. You MUST SEE THEM!

Happy Anniversary! I'm another one who doesn't comment often (not for lack of language skills) by just sheer laziness! Sorry! I truly enjoy reading your blog every day thru RSS feed - I wouldn't miss it! Thanks for all you do!!!!

I can't believe you've only been blogging for a year, Carol! The amount of wonderful content on your site is really remarkable (and continues to grow). You have one of the very few must-read blogs that I regularly read.

Happy anniversary! You've done a wonderful job. Best wishes for the future and wishing you continued success!

I, too, have trouble coming up with appropriate superlatives for your blog! It was a happy day for me when I found your site, and every day since when I read your posts! Thank you, thank you! Please consider all your visitors to be saying "Whoa!" when we read the daily feed, because we ARE!

Hi, and Happy Anniversary!
I'm sorry, but I'm another guilty one -- usually have just a few minutes in the morning to check email before grandchildren arrive for the day. Will try to be better in the future. Thanks for all you share with us so freely!

Hi cpeep.

Your site is terrific. It's hard to believe you've only been doing it one year. GOOD JOB!

I have always loved paper since I played with paper dolls about 60 years ago! Well almost 60 years ago. I'm 62 now.

I bought some Robert Sabuda books for Christmas gifts and fell in love with pop-ups. I knew I had to learn to make them. I found you when I googled pop up cards.

I enjoyed your Christmas card blogs so much...and yes...I tried to look at the 2009 card;-D Love your sense of humor.

Your instructions and info on books are wonderful too. I have checked out all your links and have been thrilled to see the beautiful things people have made. Margit's blog is in my favorites too.

Thank you so much for sharing all your knowledge and ideas. I'm having so much fun making and giving pop-up cards.
